I wouldn’t change the ending of any book I’ve read. I believe a story ends the way its author meant it to, and I try to see that final moment through their eyes rather than my own. Their chosen ending invites reflection and offers a perspective I might not have considered. Even when an ending feels unexpected or unresolved, I see it as part of the author’s intention — a final gesture that asks me to sit with whatever emotions or questions remain. Endings aren’t just conclusions; they’re part of the message, and changing them would erase the very truth the writer meant to leave behind.
